About us
The original company Cassovia Industrie – Elektronik, Ldt., was established in January 1993 as a sister company of a renowned German manufacturer of flame monitoring system – BFI Automation.
During the last seventeen years, our company has focused on the industrial flame burner monitoring and surveillance of combustion in combustion chambers of power plants, heating plants, refineries, chemical plants etc. Later on, we have expanded the range of our products and now we also offer the high-energy external burner lighters (torches) that can operate under extreme conditions.
Our activities not only include the import of this technology, but also the projecting, the consultancy in the field of combustion processes, boiler test measurements, the products` installation and commissioning as well as servicing activities. The quality of our sensors and igniters has been endorsed by many satisfied customers, like U.S. Steel Kosice, Power plant Vojany, Slovnaft Bratislava, Mondi CSP Ruzomberok, as well as many power plants in the Czech Republic like the CEZ, Ltd., Group. (See references). Our regular business partners, among others, are: SES Tlmace JSC, Prvni Brnenska Strojirna, ABB Brno. We have successfully supplied our products to many facilities throughout the world, e.g Hungary, Egypt, Cuba, Iran, Argentina and China.
Upon costumer`s request, we are able to deliver and devise sensors of various European manufacturers.
On the basis of a long-term cooperation with German business partners, in the period of 1998 – 2000, we were also offered cooperation with other foreign companies. We have started to collaborate with the following partners:
- The German company GTE, Viersen – Europe`s top producer of intelligent early fire detection system (see products)
- The German company STEAG - POWITEC, Essen – the manufacturer of intelligent automatization systems for complex industrial combustion processes in cement plants, power plants, chemical plants etc. Their system is based on monitoring of combustion processes parameters by optical devices – boroscopes and a further combustion analysis and combustion optimization.
- The German company DURAG, Hamburg - a supplier of lighters for outdoor torches, burners and accessories (from its subsidiary Hegwein) and also flame sensors.
